Warisha Alvi

Chief Executive Officer

Warisha Alvi is the founder of The Weaving Seeds and currently serves as the SEO marketer at a UAE-based digital marketing agency. She holds a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from the University of Karachi and has been internationally published her research in plant sciences. With a solid foundation in content strategy and digital visibility, Warisha combines her scientific background with her passion for environmental advocacy, using digital platforms to promote awareness and inspire sustainable action.

Shaheer Ahmad

Head of Environmental Research

Being the Co founder of The Weaving Seeds (TWS), Shaheer Ahmad serves as the Head of Environmental Research and Outreach at TWS. He is currently pursuing his master’s degree in Environmental Sustainability and Education at the University of Padua, Italy. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Biology and has previously worked as an International Student Ambassador and senior journalist at the University of Pécs, Hungary. Shaheer has also served as a Student Ambassador for Amnesty International and EDUopinions, actively promoting student voices and global justice. With a strong interest in environmental justice, biodiversity, and ecosystem services, he envisions a more sustainable and greener Pakistan through research, education, and youth empowerment.

Tuba Nafees

Program Manager

Tuba Nafees serves as the Co-founder and Program Manager at The Weaving Seeds. A gold medalist in Biotechnology, she holds a Master’s degree from the University of Karachi, where she conducted specialized research in plant biotechnology. She is deeply committed to promoting a sustainable culture by transforming scientific knowledge into actionable solutions. With a strong foundation in team leadership, project management, and interdisciplinary collaboration, she aims to address pressing environmental challenges and advance sustainable development on both national and global levels. Tuba is also a dedicated poetess, aspiring AI technologist, and a member of the Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD).

An environmentally conscious and creative teenager, Zoha serves as an Eco Ambassador with The Weaving Seeds, where she promotes sustainability and community engagement. A proud Beaconite, she blends her passion for nature with strong communication and leadership skills to inspire meaningful, lasting environmental change.
