Gen Green Internship
In July 2025, a few enthusiastic teenagers discovered The Weaving Seeds through social media and reached out because they wanted to contribute.
Their curiosity, energy, and willingness to learn inspired us to launch our first Gen Green Internship Program creating a space where young people could explore environmental issues, develop practical skills, and turn what they learned into action.
As part of the internship, our young eco-interns explored climate change, sustainable and unsustainable lifestyles, waste, and environmental responsibility.
But learning didn’t stop at awareness.
They experimented with upcycling unwanted materials into useful and creative objects, proving that sustainability can begin with something as simple as changing the way we look at waste.
From cardboard birdhouses and tissue-roll wall hangings to stationery holders made from plastic bottles and bags created from old jeans, each creation became a small example of the possibilities hidden in everyday waste.

Here is What Our Interns Love
The internship taught me how simple materials can be turned into something meaningful. It felt rewarding to create art that supports sustainability.
Zoya Fahad
Upcycling changed the way I see waste — now I understand that every discarded item holds potential. I not only learned the difference between sustainable and unsustainable lifestyles but also raised awareness about it through TWS digital platforms.
Maida Khan
The internship was an exciting experience for me. I learned how even small actions can inspire meaningful change. I shared my observations about land pollution in my surroundings and am truly grateful to TWS for giving me this wonderful opportunity.

Beyond the Internship
For us, the most meaningful part of the internship wasn’t simply what the interns created, it was seeing young people begin to carry environmental conversations beyond the program.
One of our interns, Zoha went on to become a TWS Eco Ambassador, continuing the journey from participant to environmental advocate.
